I haven’t done this ride, but it looks pretty awesome. About 50 miles and over 4000 ft of elevation gain. I might try this ride this weekend.

Colorado Cycling Events

I am having a really tough time motivating to train for the Ride the Rockies. So far the weather in Colorado has been pretty abysmal. I can get a couple of days of riding in, and then will get 2 or 3 days of rain or snow, which has motivated me to stay inside.

Well, I figure a great way to train for the Ride the Rockies is to sign up for events that will force me to ride. I found this site on the internet that lists upcoming cycling events in Colorado.

Thinking I am going to be doing the Rose Hill Rally and possibly the Road to Victory. As the Ride the Rockies is a multi-day event, I am fairly certain I’ll have to follow up these events by doing another day of riding before and after.
